This is a view looking at it from inside the house.
The clever musings or uncomfortable rants depending on hormonal fluctuations of a wireworker/jeweler Mom attempting to create desirable doodads in the rare free moments when I am not parenting my adorable children.

New Celtic Trinity Knot Aluminum Hair Pin , Shawl Pin
I had a customer ask if we could do something like this with the trinity knot design.
At first I thought it would be too hard to do. But I’ve been getting the hang of
remaking this design.Embarrassingly I lost her contact information so if you are
out there and see this,
Sorry I didn’t get back to you and thanks for the suggestion!
The Celtic Trinity Knot Aluminum Pin works great as a shawl pin…
and a hair pin.

New Bass Clef Shawl Pin
In keeping with the music theme, we added the Bass Clef Shawl Pin to our shop
this week. The bass clef has been requested by many and I never really felt too
good about the designs I came up with. Those two little dots on the side are tricky!
But this design works well I think. Hope the musicians agree!

New Treble Clef Hair Sticks or Shawl Pins
I had an epiphany a few weeks ago and realized that the treble clef lends itself
perfectly to a hair stick / shawl pin design.
This is the Copper Treble Clef Stick
The Brass Treble Clef Hair Stick/ Shawl Pin
And the Aluminum Treble Clef Hair Stick/ Shawl Pin
The perfect gift for the right musician and music lover.

New Celtic trinity knot hair fork or shawl pin
This is a fresh new Celtic trinity knot fork now available in our Etsy shop.
Based on the classic Trinity knot design this hammered aluminum fork would
work great as a shawl pin or hair fork. It is very soft and flexible because it is
aluminum so it might not work well for heavy, long hair. It’s always so hard to
tell if a hair accessory will work well for your hair with out trying it on so if it doesn’t
work well you can return it for an exchange or refund. The beauty of aluminum is
that it is so light weight so it won’t feel heavy in your hair or shawl. I love working
in aluminum.

Fourth Grade Field Trip to Starker Forest
Today I chaperoned my sons’ 4th grade class strip to Starker Forest. It was one of
the best field trips I’ve gone on and I’ve gone on quite a few doozies as an overachieving
Mom.
There’s on thing wrong with this sign that took us a while to figure out…. “durning”?
The guides were great and the kids were attentive (mostly).
Big ‘Shrooms!
Newt!
Egads- wasp nest. Glad it was empty!

New shop building – pouring of the foundation walls
This may be one of the most boring blog posts but it was pretty exciting for us.
The arrival of the cement truck. The rain stopped and we had a perfect day for
cement pouring.
Don’t let the excitement you.

What’s been happening…
A lot has been happening! Nick turned 48. We call this picture Zombie daddy.
Henry went to his first 6th grade Middle School dance. He was the life of the party.
We had Nick’s Aunt Alice visit and cousin Azreal. Alice is 85 year’s old and has
been accepted into the peace Corp. She is heading to Morocco in January for 2 years!
My son affirmed my status as awesome Mom.
AND… We broke ground on our new shop building that is being built right now!
The big hole
The empty pockets that this big exciting project will cost us. (But worth every penny.)
